Tour Details
Ready to glide through a magical winter wonderland on a dog sled? We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and head to Kiruna, near the world's first ice hotel.
Upon arrival, we'll wrap up warm in overalls, winter boots, hats, and gloves so we're cosy and ready for the adventure ahead. Once kitted out, we'll go over some safety tips before meeting the stars of the day—the enthusiastic sled dogs that will lead the way through the Arctic landscape. After greeting our new furry friends, we'll be all set for an unforgettable journey.
Our route spans 10 to 12 kilometres (6.2 to 7.4 miles) and will take us through some of the most stunning Arctic wilderness around. As we glide across the snow, we'll be immersed in the breathtaking scenery—perfect for taking photos. Throughout the ride, we'll be accompanied by a professional musher, ensuring our safety and expertly guiding the dogs. We'll just sit back, relax, and enjoy the incredible views as we experience the thrill of dog sledding.
About 30 minutes into our adventure, we'll take a break at a remote Arctic wilderness camp. Here, we'll warm up by a fire, and we'll enjoy some hot drinks and traditional Swedish Fika, such as a cup of coffee or tea alongside delicious cinnamon rolls—just the thing to refuel in the middle of your Arctic adventure. While relaxing by the fire, we can take the chance to bond with the dogs—they love cuddles and belly rubs after their hard work!
After our break, it will be time to hop back onto the sled and continue the journey. Another exhilarating 30 minutes of sledding will see us winding through snowy trails before arriving back in town.
Once we've finished our adventure, we'll say goodbye to the friendly dogs. Then we'll take you back to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 7 hours.
