At the indicated time, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and set off for the picturesque village of Jukkasjärvi, where you'll immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the Sami people, native to some northern parts of Scandinavia
Nutti Sámi Siida is an open-air museum where you'll be introduced to the history, culture, and deep connection the Sami have with the natural environment all while surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Swedish Arctic.
Once you arrive, you'll have free time to walk around the open-air museum. You can explore authentic Sami buildings and traditional handicrafts. Of course, the highlight of the day will be a close-up encounter with Lapland’s most iconic animal—the reindeer. You'll step inside a traditional corral, and if you wish, you can purchase Arctic moss to feed these magnificent creatures—the ultimate winter activity!
All this adventure is sure to work up an appetite! You’ll have access to Café Sápmi, a charming café housed in a cosy wooden teepee, operated by the local Sami community. Here, you can purchase warm drinks, sandwiches, and enjoy a classic Swedish Fika.
Finally, after a total of 7 hours, you'll head back to the starting point and be dropped back at your hotel.
